Finding the home care provider best suited for your needs requires times, patience, and research, but it is time well spent. Important factors include the quality of care, availability of needed services, personnel training and expertise, and coverage provided by payor. Before starting a search, it is important to determine which type of care you need. 

Home care is often a less costly alternative to a nursing home or an assisted living facility. 

Working with experienced, compassionate caregivers means that you or your loved one can continue to live at home - safely, securely, and as independently as possible. Family members can rest assured that their loved one's medical and personal needs are met by professionals who are screened for compatibility and trained to deal with the challenges presented by specific conditions. 

Hourly, daily, weekly and live-in care can be quoted. With advanced planning, the caregiver will likely be available several times a week providing more consistency for the individual. 

Hourly care ranges between $18 and $24 an hour for non-medical staff. Skilled services may, for a short period of time, be prescribed by a physician and paid partially by Medicare. Should you have this skilled need, we can refer you to one of our partners. 

Home care services can be paid directly by the client and his or her family members or through long-term care insurance.
